How Savage Tech's protects CE eligibility
A national catalog is possible. A single unchanged “approved everywhere” course is not. Savage Tech's uses a national core with NEC, state, local, license, and delivery overlays.
Release gates
Official jurisdiction research
Verify licensing authority, adopted edition, amendments, hours, subjects, delivery rules, reporting, certificates, and retention.
Course and provider application
Submit the exact syllabus, timed outline, instructor credentials, assessments, policies, and delivery configuration.
Technical and instructional QA
Qualified SME review, calculation review, objective mapping, copyright control, accessibility testing, and pilot delivery.
Written approval record
Record provider number, course number, approved hours, license class, delivery method, effective date, and expiration.
Approval-aware checkout
Match the learner and course version to a current approval before representing the purchase as CE credit.
Completion and reporting
Enforce seat time, participation, exam and practical rules; issue the correct certificate and report within the jurisdiction deadline.
2026 and 2023 NEC support
The current publishing cycle is managed separately from jurisdiction adoption. A 2023 course remains active wherever required, while a 2026 version is created as a new controlled record. Proposed 2029 material is tracked but never taught as enforceable code.
Copyright and licensed standards
Courses cite and accurately paraphrase applicable requirements, use original examples and diagrams, and direct learners to lawfully obtained standards. Substantial NEC and NFPA text, tables, figures, and handbook commentary are not copied without permission.
